Masahiro WADA
Born in 1977 in Tokyo. As he interacts with the living environment and people surrounding him, as well as the people, natural features and scenery of his exhibition spaces, he creates site-specific sculptures, installations and images. He has also been involved in activities concerning alternative spaces and artist collectives, such as the National Museum of Art, Okutama, and Ongoing Collective. His main exhibitions include Asian Art Award 2018 (Warehouse TERRADA, 2018), the Oku-Noto Triennale 2017 (OKU-NOTO Oral Tradition Museum, 2017), and the National Movie or Art, Okutama (National Museum of Art, Okutama, 2016).
