Yuki AOKI

Born in Hyogo prefecture. Studied jazz dance under Ms.Akemi HIRATA since 1987. While pursuing his career as a professional dancer, he encountered terrorism in NY in 2001 when he was studying abroad, and after returning home, pursued the foundation of himself. Seeking “Dance born from the body that lives now,” he formed a dance group “Newcomer H Sokerissa!” in cooperation with the BIG ISSUE in 2005. In recent years, he has participated in numerous art festivals including the “Kanazawa Fringe 2016 – 2017” at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa.
