Kohei Kobayashi

Kohei Kobayashi was born in 1974 in Tokyo. He is an artist who conjures up original meanings, purposes and relationships from ordinary objects through performance, video, and installation art. In recent years, he uses images along with drawings, photographs and three-dimensional works together – interacting with each other to create installation art. His main exhibitions includes “Aichi Triennale 2016 Homo Faber: A Rainbow Caravan” (2016) and “Keen to assimilate another Kohei: Kohei Kobayashi × Kohei Takahashi” (Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, 2017).
